Mystery of the Missing Photos!

I uploaded yesterday's post twice--and both times obviously did something wrong because none of the photos appeared. I didn't want to miss sharing them with you so here's a rerun with just the photos.

This is our giving tree next to the display of photos from the devastation of Hurricane Sandy. My office is right behind that wall.

We gather around the advent wreath in the main corridor for prayer each Wednesday during Advent. What's really nice is that many of our coworkers choose to join us for prayer--and also volunteer to prepare the prayer service.

This photo doesn't really do the tree justice. It's the most magnificent tree I think I've ever seen. This is the middle area of the three spaces that opens into meeting rooms on either side. On Christmas tree we all gather here for refreshments after Mass. That long table that you can just get a glimpse of will be more centered and filled with trays of fruit, cheese, crackers, etc. and tables will be set up in both of the side rooms for the sisters and our guests to gather. All of us from our convent will be coming to Mass here that night.

The photo is a bit lopsided but that's due to my lack of skill as a photographer. The manger scene is set up in one of the rooms further down the main corridor. The room was actually part of a small library when I was a novice but is now a lovely sitting room that is now fully open to the main corridor.

Now let's hope that the photos don't disappear on me again! I wish each of you a Christmas that is rich in blessings and a new year full of peace!

Oh, THANK YOU for pictures of Your World. I enjoy my visits here - it feels as if we are dear friends, which speaks highly of your giving, loving nature - so, thank you . . Having a little view, is such a lovely gift.
